Mar Menor is a lagoon or saltwater lagoon of the Mediterranean Sea located in the Region of Murcia, southeast of Spain. It is the largest Spanish lagoon, with environmental values that make it count with numerous protection figures, included in the Ramsar list. Its special characteristics make it an important tourist destination.
